The significance of outdoor dirt play for children's development is highlighted, and four key perspectives are elucidated. First, when children lack preconceived notions about objects, their curiosity is piqued, leading to absorption in the play. Through this process, they can stumble upon and create values unintentionally. Second, outdoor clay dirt play in kindergarten yards differs from that in artificially created sandboxes.The malleability of mud and the fluidity of puddles are influenced by weather conditions, fostering a dynamic environment that deepens children's cognitive processes. Third, the presence of water is crucial for enhancing children's outdoor play experiences. Last, the role of teachers and peers is emphasized in children's play. Teachers provide a sense of security, creating an environment conducive to exploration and learning.
