| 内容記述 | Kenji Miyazawa’s Nametokoyama no Kuma can be read as a text in which the narrator adopts Kojyurou’s mode of perceiving the world and then places upon it a further, more developed “reflection.” Through this process, an understanding emerges between Kojyurou (the human) and the bears (nature), opening up a “harmonious” world as if humanity were embraced by nature itself. The narrator achieves this by identifying with Kojyurou, who praises the bears as “so splendid.” In this sense, while Nametokoyama no Kuma be interpreted as expressing a “love of coexistence beyond causality,” such a vision arises only within the scope of the narrator’s own “reflection.” If we ask whether Kojyurou himself could have arrived at the same perception, the possibility simultaneously emerges that he did not necessarily do so. | |||||||||||
