| 内容記述 | This study aims to clarify the current state of programming education in Japanese high schools. In particular, by conducting a qualitative investigation targeting teachers in charge of information science, the study seeks to understand their perceptions of programming education, the instructional challenges they face, and the practical strategies they employ. The ultimate goal is to gain insights that contribute to future improvements in educational practice. To gain a deeper understanding of participants’ experiences and the meanings they assign to their educational practices, this study employed a qualitative research method—specifically, semi-structured interviews. The interview was conducted with a teacher at High School A in Prefecture A, who has over 20 years of teaching experience. The findings suggest that teachers’ professional perspectives on programming education are shaped by multiple factors, including institutional context, characteristics of instructional materials, students’ cognitive traits, and technological developments. Furthermore, the study indicates that teachers address instructional challenges through creative and context-sensitive approaches within their school environments. | |||||||||||||||||
