「科学的方法」についてどのような理解をしているのかを明らかにすることを目的とした.科学的思考力の育成は,国際的にも理科授業の主要目標となっている.インドネシアも,2013年にカリキュラム改訂を行い,問題解決の過程である「科学的方法」を重視して,この目標実現に取り組んでいる.しかし,新カリキュラムの中で, 「科学的方法」の概念は正しく説明されていない.また,授業研究の実践をみても,教員は「科学的方法」について断片的な理解をしていた.
