Her idea of "Organic Education" is reflected by C.H. Henderson's idea. Henderson stated the importance of organic education and life. Johnson introduced his idea, and started the School of Organic Education at Fairhope, Alabama in 1907. Johnson said the children were "the Unit Organism". And "the Unit Organism" has the phases of the Physical, Mind, and Spirit. Their phases have close relationship. So, she insisted that children were considered as wholeness. And she submitted the concept of "Life". "Life" included the many contents. Arranging "Life" in Organic Education, the concept of "Life" included the meaning of "cultivating life" or "generating the energy of growth", and the meaning of expanded the relationship with others, society, and circumstances. We cannot divide clearly between the experience and acquaintance, children and teacher, nature and culture in Progressive Education.
