 note = {The author reviewed several kinds of studies in the domain of literature and psychology, which inquired a psychological function of cutting word, Kireji in a Japanese haiku poem. The results showed that twenty and more kinds of Kireji created each psychological function, and many of them described two scenes which awaked each imagery and integrated two imageries. The author discussed that we had several problems to be examined. For example, the effects of cutting without using Kireji, and individual differences of writers and readers were important problems to be examined.},
