The main aim of this practice was discrimination for sales promotion, these maps are underestimated, or even forgotten, in spite of their contemporary influence. To investigate these maps, the author made their list as the first step. 252 maps are listed. This paper introduces general properties of these maps. (1) Osaka Mainichi offered more maps than other companies. (2) Many map were offered in 1920's and 1930's. (3) At this time, larger maps were offered. The size were mainly half of Japanese vellum (80 * 108 cm).
