The points of design were derived from the preliminary investigation of using a concept map for children, and the teaching matters and strategies concerning each point were formulated and put into practice in school. The results indicated that the knowledge structurization or re−construction of children were facilitated with using the designed concept map in classes, and the task composition on the topic of “Recommendation of a person who holds the reins of government” was improved according to the progress of lessons.
