A large number of artists were sent to primary and secondary schools in London suburbs, many of them were sent in pairs and implemented unique art workshops. In order to investigate the contents and analyse the outcomes of this project, we conducted interviews to the curator, teachers and artists who were involved in Verbal−Eyes. As a result, we found that various education programmes and projects at the Tate Gallery seem to put emphasis on individual artists’ imagination and rely on the artists power of changing the society. This fundamental idea leads their programmes to become places for participants to understand the essence of art. This study shall lead us to further investigate the historical background of Tate Gallery’s approach to education.}, pages = {82--90}, title = {英国テイト・ギャラリーの美術教育への貢献 : バーバル・アイズの事例研究を通して見えてくるもの}, volume = {29}, year = {2014}, yomi = {ヤマキ, アサヒコ and イノウエ, ユカ and ツカダ, ミキ} }
