Some twenty years have passed since the project ; the students at that time are now in their thirties and have been active members in the society. The purpose of this study is to report how taking the subject has influenced or affected them, or how the teachings have been useful in their daily lives and on the job since then, as is revealed by interviewing some of the former students(9 people)and some of the former teachers(5 people). First, the quality/ability the most students noted is the one relevant to problem discovery and solution. The new subject is designed to have students think about problems in international understanding, information, environment and welfare. The students each take up some problem relevant to the society and/or their lives. Specifically, they undergo the inquiry process of finding problems, collecting, organizing and analyzing the relevant information, expressing their findings, and finally solving the problems. The former students said that the series of the learning activities had prepared them for dealing with various problem−solution scenes in their later lives. Secondly, they pointed out the quality/ability relevant to building relations with other people, cooperativeness, and communication skills. They think that because of their experience of expanding, deepening and constructing their ideas by successfully managing relationships with friends and people in the community in the classes, they can now work collaboratively with their colleagues at work, which leads to coming up with quality ideas and proposals and leading fulfilling professional lives. Thirdly, they referred to autonomy and independence. One of the subject’s goals is to cultivate the ability and attitude to make decisions and learn on one’s own. We think that the students understood very well, the new teaching philosophy underlying the subject−−“Teachers learn along with students”.}, pages = {72--89}, title = {総合的学習の教育効果に関する追跡調査 : 鳴門教育大学附属中学校「未来総合科」卒業生及び元教員に対する面接調査を中心に}, volume = {30}, year = {2015}, yomi = {ムラカワ, マサヒロ and カマダ, アケミ} }
