It got the status as a symbol of “lost antiquity” in pre−modern Japan. Thus the preference for “hudoki”, that is hudokiphilia, prevails in modern Japan. “Hudoki” is used for the title of books, musics, dramas, movies, TV−program, web−pages, and many goods with local tastes. This article examined the state of publication of books titled as hudoki. They have been published concentratedly in 1970－2000. The regions which these hudoki describe are mainly Japan.
