In Sandplay, everyone, from children to adults, can play with the same tools. What kind of play would appear in Sandplay depends not on the toys themselves, but on how to use them. Sandplay contains at least four aspects in action, as follows, “feeling”, “making”, “playing” and “competing”. When people are playing in Sandplay, they freely come and go among these aspects. These aspects are connected at a fundamental level. The Sandplay tools are “toys” that enable us to play in such manners.
