As a result, we revealed that the order of reaction rate of DPPH radical scavenging reaction of four kinds of tea catechins is (-)-epigallocatechin gallate > (-)-epigallocatechin > (-)-epicatechin gallate > (-)-epicatechin. And also, the strength of DPPH radical scavenging ability of four kinds of tea catechins under the coexistence of two kinds of antioxidants was evaluated the order of (-)-epigallocatechin gallate > (-)-epigallocatechin > (-)-epicatechin gallate > (-)-epicatechin.
