 note = {Shin Kagaku-Teki [New Scientific](1930-1933) is a literary magazine launched by a novelist Yoichi Nakagawa. Although he did not contribute articles to the magazine, his purpose of launching this magazine was to mature his literary formalism theory. It is notable that his formalism tries to incorporate scientific ideas such as the theory of relativity and quantum mechanics. In this paper, I analyzed Nakagawa's papers published in various media, such as newspapers and (other) magazines, during the time when the magazine Shin Kagaku-Teki was being published(around the year of 1930) and examined the idea that Nakagawa called “scientific romanticism,” which he reached through his discussions of his own literary theory in his papers.},
