A purpose of this study is to clarify knowledge and skills of the post of principal, vice-principal required for future school management. In this study, free description-style survey was replied by vice-principals and principals. As a result, four points of the next became clear. ① Vice-principals tends to think "nature" of the post of vice-principal is different from "nature" of the post of principal. However, principals tends to think "nature" of the post of vice-principal is similar to "nature" of the post of principal. ② Vice-principals tends to think the knowledge and skill that it is thought that it is necessary for the post of principal is necessary for post of vice-principal in future school management. However, principals tends to think the knowledge and skills that it is thought that it is necessary for the post of vice-principal is necessary for post of vice-principal in future school management too. ③ Vice-principal tends to think that " cooperation construction with the outside " is necessary for future school management than the principals. ④ Exercises about decision making may be effective for post of principal. Exercises to assist the principal may be effective for post of vice-principal.
