| 内容記述 | The purposes of this study were to develop a scale toward symptom of throwing and catching ataxia for junior high school baseball player, and to analyze the traits of junior high school baseball players with symptom of throwing and catching ataxia. In order to achieve the first purpose, a questionnaire contained 85 items was developed. After then, 15 items were selected based on factor analysis. The 15 items were divided into 5 sub−scales with 3 items for each. The sub−scales were named as follows : “Sense of high strain caused by wild pitch image”, “Excessive consciousness toward other’s evaluation”, “Excessive consciousness toward seniority”, “Sense of inferiority”, “Excessive consciousness toward important situation”. As a result of check the reliability and validity of these scales, almost sufficient numerical values were obtained. In order to achieve the second purpose, the questionnaire was executed to 529 junior high school baseball players, and the mean scores of each scale were compared by experience of throwing and catching ataxia. The results of these analysis were as follows : 1．The players having an experience of throwing and catching ataxia showed higher competitive anxiety, especially inclination of escape from competition and self−distrust were notable. 2．The players having an experience of throwing and catching ataxia showed higher scores of “Sense of high strain by wild pitch image” and “Sense of inferiority” in the scale toward symptom of throwing and catching ataxia. These results in this study were similar tendency with prior studies toward high−school or college student baseball players. | |||||||||||||||||
