| 内容記述 | The international standardization bodies of ISO, IEC, and ITU have been co-hosting a meeting called “World Smart City Forum” since 2016. They share information on related standardization activities in their respective fields, such as IoT and Big Data, and coordinate fields that require cooperation. In Japan, smart city policies are being implemented to realize “Society 5.0”, and is formulating urban evaluation indicators for smart cities in the ISO. However, although the implementation of advanced technologies such as IoT and big data has been progressing, there are still issues regarding the formation of citizen awareness in urban planning, Japan. In this study, we analyzed the current smart city policies in Japan, and proposed solutions for realizing smart cities and measures for forming citizen awareness. | |||||||||||
