In modern times, the relationships between child and the outside world have been severd, and it is difficult to establish the proper conditions for education and child care. In order to establish a relationship in this environment, efforts must be focused on the following two key element for creating chil care which is based on the concept of the "adherence" of child, as conceived by Tomoko Kobayashi. (1) The approach of the nusery teacher must be aimed at gaining the chid's comprehension The nursery teacher understands that the "adherence" of a child is what the child likes, and the nursery teacher must remain thoroughly involved with the child for sufficient time to gain the chid's comprehension. (2) The mutual relationship that is painstakingly constructed between the child and nursery teacher must involve an open acceptance of the child by the teacher. This accpetance is not of the child as an "acceptable presence" but rather an acceptance of the child as the principle focus the lifely and living activities
