One study has shown that copying one famous authorʼs works improves a learnersʼ writing ability, and how his literary style was changed by copying one famous authorʼs works. In this study, a graduate student had copied the works of multiple famous authors for ten months and the changes in his literary style were then examined. His writing ability was also examined to determine whether it had improved. The results indicated that his literary style had changed, and his writing ability had improved. This study showed that copying the works of multiple famous authors improves learnersʼ writing ability and literary style.
