| 内容記述 | This study investigates the impact of teacher absenteeism on student achievement in Guinea-Bissau's educational sector, focusing on Portuguese and mathematics results of 489 ninth-grade students from seven high schools. It employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data from questionnaires and attendance records with qualitative insights from interviews and class observations. The survey results confirmed that among the independent variables in the regression model introduced in this study, teacher absenteeism could have the greatest impact on students' achievement. It was also confirmed that the teacher's salary, the number of pages in the student's notebook, and the student's age can have a significant impact on it. | |||||||||
